Being an artist enables me to explore with wild abandon, to take chances and to push boundaries. I photograph, I paint, I write and I like the challenge of combining these forms of expression in mixed media works on canvas, paper and screen.
Somehow, despite a gritty kind of life or maybe because of the struggles of my early years, I managed to keep the part of a person that life usually destroys. You know what I mean: it’s the part of being that bucks conformity for originality. It questions, seeks; it PLAYS.
Oh, I live in the grown-up world. I work full-time in law, handling big people issues such as land reform, blight, urban planning, housing, poverty. At the end of the day, though, I can come here to the studio and restore that inner me.
Being here, or doing or an art show or teaching are ways for me to share my passion for art, personal growth and education.
So that’s me. If you want to read the real-world credentials I come with, visit here.
