wherein I explain my visual expressions in words

Just coming off a wonderful week of plein air painting on Chincoteague and Assateague islands in Virginia and I promised me I would update my website with all the studio seascapes I have been painting. So... yes, I am keeping my promise to self. LOL

Someone recently told me I underprice my work and I have read that many collectors will not take me seriously if I don't price for the big leagues. I call BS!

I've sold large paintings for thousands of dollars and have been paid thousands on commissions. I am humbled and thankful for this.

BUT... come on, I see no problem with making my smaller works affordable to people who want to be able to buy a painting without breaking the bank.

I do enjoy setting affordable prices and you will see that I have a "make an offer" button by most of the paintings. Why? Because I paint. A LOT. And I like to sell. Mostly, I like to share what a place "feels" like, whether the place comes from a real site or one I imagined through memories and my mind's eye.  So, making my paintings affordable seems a smart thing to do. You buy, my studio walls become empty and I keep painting. It's a win for you and for me.
