wherein I explain my visual expressions in words

OMG! I am running the printing press today and oh la la! So ... 

Two years ago, I talked about trying a small-run print of my oil painting "Sundial at Sundown," which I painted en plein air on Chincoteague in 2023. The painting sold at the Chincoteague Cultural Alliance Plein Air Show. 

First: Sundial Books is my favorite bookstore in the world. Second, yes the windows in the painting looked like that the evening I painted out front of the store. Third, it's one of my favorite paintings that I've ever made. And, I've made plenty ;-)

Thus... all this time later, I dug out the photo of the painting and ran three test prints. I am pleased, no make that ecstatic, to say the prints are great. You can see the juicy brushstrokes and the vibrancy of sunset on those windows.

So, yes, I am going to make prints available in the online gallery. Right now, I need to work out those details and decide whether to limit the run, or at least large sizes of the run. Drop me a message or email ,if you think you are interested in a print, I'd like to do a few press runs of various sizes. I am thinking of doing 12 by 16 and smaller.
