Come Into the Garden

Some places seem to welcome us before we have even crossed the threshold. In Come into the Garden, an open gate offers just such an invitation.

A warm ochre path leads between white picket fences, drawing the eye toward a quiet world beyond. Above it, a leafy canopy gathers the light, while pink flowers brighten the edges of the scene. The soft greens and sunlit golds create a sense of calm, but the path’s destination remains out of view. That small uncertainty gives the garden its mystery.

I was drawn to the feeling of standing at the entrance: close enough to sense the shelter of the trees and the color of the flowers, yet still wondering what awaits farther along. The gate suggests possibility. It is a gentle pause between the familiar and the unknown.

Perhaps the garden holds birdsong, a hidden bench, or simply a quieter moment. Each viewer may imagine something different—and that is part of the pleasure of looking.

Come into the Garden is an invitation to slow down, follow the path, and let curiosity lead the way. What would you hope to find inside?
